About Demetrica

Hello, my name is Demetrica Polk, and I am a student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program. I am a resident of Phoenix, Arizona, where I have developed a strong passion for supporting the mental and emotional well being of individuals in my community. Growing up in Phoenix allowed me to see both the strengths and challenges within diverse populations, which inspired me to pursue a career in counseling. I am deeply committed to creating a safe and welcoming space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. My goal is to walk alongside individuals on their mental health journey while offering compassion, understanding, and practical support. I am excited to continue developing my clinical skills and growing within a profession that allows me to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
